Student Sponsorship
Individuals are enlisted to partner with a child who attends 2nd Mile Education Center to provide educational opportunities, nutrition and spiritual encouragement. Letters, prayers and monthly support will help break the cycle of poverty. Your tax-deductible contribution of just $35 a month provides:

When children find out they have been sponsored there is a joy that cannot be described. They are amazed that someone so far away cares for them. It is a huge encouragement which gives them a hope and opportunity to be everything God wants them to be!
Sponsors are encouraged to visit their child by joining a mission trip to meet the child at the school and spend some time together. Trips are offered three times a year.
2nd Mile Missions has partnered with a church in Bavaro, Dominican Republic called City of God for the Nations, to build a school on the church property. The school opened in August of 2010 and provides an education in a Christian environment for 600 students from Preschool through 8th grade. A secondary school will open in August of 2012 that will provide general education classes for 9th through 12th grade and opportunities for students to learn a valuable trade.
