Go on a mission trip
Experience the sights, sounds, smells and people of 2nd Mile Missions in Bavaro. You will join a team that works together to serve the people in the church (City of God for the Nations) and the school (2nd Mile Education Center) which are both located on the church property. Our mission center is also located on the church property. We have two rooms furnished with bunk beds and connecting bathrooms, a small kitchen, and an outdoor landscaped cabana where we eat our meals. During our mission trip week we will be doing light construction projects and working with the kids in the school and surrounding neighborhoods. Each trip is $1300 and a $200 deposit holds your spot.

Current trips:
June 24- July 1 (FULL)
Youth trip for kids currently in 8th-12th grade. Kids will participate in light construction projects and provide a VBS for kids in the school and church.
November 3-10 (FULL)
Our November mission trip will be geared for sponsors who want to visit their child in the school. We are planning on spending time in the classrooms making a Christmas card for all sponsors, playing with the kids during recess, attending the student led chapel service, and visiting the neighborhoods where the kids live. We will also participate in a light painting or construction project.
