Our Ministry to the people in Bavaro, Dominican Republic began in December 2006 when visiting a resort on a family vacation.  Our desire during the trip was to bring medicine, toys, and clothes to poor and needy kids in the area.  We connected with a local pastor who invited us to meet a group of kids from his church and share our gifts.  Following our visit Pastor Pascual Borrel shared his vision and passion to help the poor in his community and gave us the opportunity to help.  We returned to Bavaro in May with a team of 10 people who spent a week doing construction and providing a Vacation Bible School for kids.  Our goal is to continue to help the people of Bavaro with our time, resources and prayers.  We feel we can make a difference for God in this ministry.
