To support and encourage the ministry in Bavaro, Dominican Republic by sending teams of people to help with construction projects and teach kids in the community about Christ.

  1. BulletConstructed a Church for children

  2. BulletConstructed walls and floor for main church building

  3. BulletDeveloped a medical clinic

  4. BulletEstablished the Community Economy Kitchen which serves around 300 meals daily

  5. BulletStarted construction on the Bavaro Christian School

2nd Mile Adventures has added another Poverty Challenge for this August 28th.  Sign up online at: www.2ndmileadventures.org for a half or full trail marathon.  All proceeds will go to 2nd Mile Missions

2nd Mile Missions needs help in raising support for the the kids.  The church down in the Dominican is opening a school in August and in order for some kids to attend they need some support.  Check out this brochure to find out how you can support a student.

2nd Mile Missions recently partnered with Uno Mas Missions to give better eye sight to the impoverished villages of the Dominican Republic.  The Uno Mas team has already fitted thousands of Dominican's with glasses, enhancing their ability to see life in a way that most of us take for granted every day.  Click HERE to watch a short video and to find out more about their eye glass ministry.  To make a DONATION click on the donate button
