Opening in August of 2011, the school was created out of a unique partnership between 2nd Mile Missions and a church in Bavaro, Dominican Republic called, “City of God for the Nations”. The school was built on the church property and is the only Christian private school In the area. Currently the school offers classes from preschool through the 8th grade. All teachers are licensed through the department of Education in the Dominican Republic and many are bi-lingual. When fully completed the school will offer classes through the 12th grade including a trade school for high school students. Each child receives instruction in reading, writing, science, social studies, and math as well as computer physical education and English classes. A hot lunch is also provided.
